A Facebook Fan Page for your business is a necessity in today’s virtual world. Here’s a rundown of a few resourceful tips.
*Best time to post on Facebook is on weekdays 11am, 3pm and 8pm EST
*Wednesdays @ 3pm EST is the busiest time on Facebook, although morning post are more effective
*You no longer need 25 fans to request a personal URL for your fan page (word of caution, you can’t change it so make sure you choose) wisely.
*Having a custom “Landing Tab” with a “Call to Action” for your fan page can have a great impact.
It can convert visitors into fans at a rate of about 47% versus the wall which is only about 26%. BIG Difference!
*Anyone can become a fan of your page via text. All they would need to do is; (example) text “fanLorraineRoblesSocialMedia” to 32665 and wala!
*Posting every other day is effective
*Increase engagement on your page(s) by posting Questions, Polls, Pictures and Videos
*Posts with 80 characters or less tend to get more engagement
*The size of your profile picture/image can be up to 540 X 180w pix
*In order to run any type of contest you Must use a 3rd party app.
